Emergency Services The multidisciplinary team at Sackville Memorial Hospital's Emergency Services department provides emergency and ambulatory care to approximately 18,000 patients each year. Emergency Services is located to the right of the admitting desk (follow the yellow dots marked on the floor). Patients coming to Emergency Services should go to central admitting in the front entrance lobby of the hospital, with the exception of those requiring an ambulance. The ambulance entrance is located at the Emergency department door to the right of the facility. The Emergency Services team consists of family physicians, registered nurses and ward clerks who treat all conditions that require medical and/or nursing care. Critical patients are stabilized at Sackville Memorial Hospital prior to transfer to The Moncton Hospital, which is the acute and trauma referral centre for the region.
