About Us

Health Services Centre Rexton is part of South-East Regional Health Authority's multidisciplinary network of hospitals, health centres, services and programs leading the way in health promotion and education. Health Services Centre Rexton serves the communities of Harcourt, Point Sapin, Rexton, Bouctouche, Richibucto, St. Anne and Elsipogtog and is located in the Village of Rexton, New Brunswick.

Health Services Centre Rexton first opened its doors in 1974. Today, the centre employs a talented and dedicated team of nurses and physicians, who house their private practices on-site, with an additional office off-site. A clientele of around 65,000 come to the centre each year.

The centre is equipped with a treatment room for minor procedures, such as dressing changes. Various drop-in services are offered, including blood tests, blood pressure clinics, vitamin B-12 injections, flu prevention clinics and immunization. Blood work is available Monday through Thursday mornings at the centre.

To coincide with the community wellness program, nurses run a weekly "Friday Health Club" series that encourages proper diet, nutrition and exercise. A diabetes information meeting is also offered on a monthly basis by a nurse specialized in diabetes.

Optimal patient care and excellence are dual commitments to the community, with emphasis on health and wellness, and every attempt is made to meet the community's needs through ongoing education and support.
