E1C 6Z8 Ph: (506) 857-5348 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A chaplain is on-call 24 hours a day and may be paged by contacting the hospital switchboard or by phoning (506) 857-5111, pager 1529. Location: The Spiritual and Religious Care office and the chapel are located on the main floor of The Moncton Hospital, just past Medical Imaging, on the left. We uphold the ethic of love and acceptance of each person as being essential for his or her health and quality of life, and in promoting and demonstrating the sacred worth of every human being. Members of our department visit, counsel and support patients and their families during a hospital stay. The department is responsible for the provision of spiritual and religious care for South-East Regional Health Authority, primarily at The Moncton Hospital. Spiritual and religious care to patients and their families are also provided by different faith leaders and ministries. We orient community faith leaders to the hospital and support them by providing parking and access to the names of their adherents on the patient lists. A 30-seat chapel is located next to the Spiritual and Religious Care office and it is open 24 hours a day.
